As moms of athletes, we spent countless hours outdoors watching our kids train, compete, and play. Along the way, we did what most parents do: we tried every sunblock we could find. Some were gentle enough for sensitive skin. Others held up better during sports. A few worked well under makeup, while others felt too heavy, sticky, or uncomfortable. Each one had something we liked—but none truly did it all.

So we ended up carrying multiple sunblocks in our bags, switching products depending on the activity, the weather, or who was using it. And eventually, we asked ourselves a simple question:

What followed was more than a year of collaboration, research, and refinement. We discussed every detail—from texture and finish to performance under heat, sweat, and water. We wanted a formula that applied as a lightweight gel, dried to a powdery-matte feel, worked well under makeup, and stayed comfortable during sports and long days outdoors. And just as importantly, we wanted something we would feel confident using on ourselves and our children.
